Welcome Parents to the University of Miami!  We know you are supporting your future college student during this process, and understand that looking through the information can be a bit daunting.  We've tried to make the process a bit easier by compiling a listing of helpful resources that will provide you with the answers you're looking for.

Academics
Our students find their academic path in over 180 majors and programs.  Learn more about the academic opportunities available to your student.  Visit our Academics page.

If your student is undecided about his/her major, they can use their first year to explore.  The Center for Freshman Advising in the College of Arts and Sciences is designed specifically to help undeclared first-year students select courses that fulfill general education requirements and provide guidance towards choosing major(s).
